eMeta's team now joins the Macrovision management team. With a wide range of experience, eMeta's management team is responsible for forging the strategic vision of the division and achieving the goals of customer satisfaction and company growth.
Jonathan Lewin - Vice President of Information Commerce
Jonathan Lewin is VP of Information Commerce for Macrovision and is responsible for the strategic vision, continued growth, technical excellence and customer satisfaction for eMeta products and services. eMeta provides digital subscription technologies for world-leading customers that include the McGraw-Hill Companies, Reed Elsevier and Wolters Kluwer. Before being acquired by Macrovision, eMeta ranked #141 on the 2004 Deloitte & Touche Technology Fast 500 for North America and was included in the Red Herring Top 100 Private Companies in 2005.
Prior to founding eMeta, Mr. Lewin managed the operations of new media and Internet technology companies in Boston and London. In these positions, he realized the need for solutions that allow companies to license and sell digital goods, as opposed to tangible goods. Hence, eMeta was born.
Mr. Lewin has spoken on technology and business topics at numerous industry events, including Folio, ISV Transformation Summit and SIIA’s Enterprise Software Summit. He has been quoted by leading publications, including eContent, Financial Times, InformationWeek, KM World, Network World, Publishers Weekly and Software Business. A published author, Mr. Lewin contributed to Content Management Leadership Strategies, Aspatore Books, 2005.
In addition to industry conferences and exhibitions, Mr. Lewin is an active participant in American Business Media and the Software and Information Industry Association. He holds a BA from Harvard University.
Christopher Miranda - Vice President of Sales, Information Commerce
Mr. Miranda is responsible for eMeta's worldwide sales strategy, managing the division's sales initiatives and developing partnerships and alliances. Prior to joining eMeta, Mr. Miranda led a team of major account executives at Canon Business Solutions, developing a market for a new division of the company. Mr. Miranda received his BS degree from the University at Albany, State University of New York.
Andrei Vazhnov - Senior Director of Development, Information Commerce
Mr. Vazhnov is responsible for all aspects of product development including architecture, specification and design of the eRights technology. Additionally, he oversees the application development and technical design teams. Prior to joining eMeta, Mr. Vazhnov was responsible for the design and implementation of multicurrency liability risk analysis software at Goldman Sachs. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the Association for Computing Machinery and the International Association of Financial Engineers. Mr. Vazhnov holds an MS in Science and Technology Policy from Harvard University and a diploma in Physics from Novosibirsk State University.
Jennifer England - Director of Marketing, Information Commerce
Ms. England leads eMeta's marketing strategy and implementation and is responsible for promoting the product suite worldwide. With extensive experience working in start-up and high-growth technology-oriented companies, she most recently led business development for real-time collaboration and VoIP products at Antepo and BullDog TeleWorks, respectively. Ms. England has an MBA from the California State University and a BA from San Francisco State University.
