eMeta Software up for Best Application Management Solution, Best eCommerce Solution

NEW YORK, February 1, 2006 -- eMeta Corporation, the leading provider of access control, subscription management and ecommerce software for digital goods and services, today announced that its eRights Suite and RightCommerce solutions have been named finalists in the Software and Information Industry Association's (SIIA) 21st annual CODiE Awards. eRights is a finalist in the Best Application Management Solution category, and RightCommerce has been shortlisted in the Best eCommerce Solution category.

The CODiE for Best Application Management Solution awards the top infrastructure, technology or Web hosting platform that best enables Software as a Service (SaaS). The CODiE for Best eCommerce Solution honors the software application that best facilitates eCommerce functionality, including subscription management and other innovative features.

”We’re excited to be finalists in two CODiE categories this year,” said Jonathan Lewin, CEO and Founder, eMeta. “This honor is a testament to the power and flexibility of eMeta technology, as well as its importance to the software and information industries.”

Established in 1986, the CODiE Awards remains the standard-bearer for celebrating outstanding achievement and vision in the software, information and education technology industries.

"The 21st Annual CODiE Awards continue the tradition of honoring the best of the software, information and education technology industries," said Ken Wasch, SIIA President. "When one considers the number of outstanding companies that competed this year, being named a CODiE Awards Finalist is a significant achievement."

Winners will be announced at the 21st Annual CODiE Awards Gala on May 16, 2006 at the Westin St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco. The black-tie optional Gala includes a cocktail and hors d'oeuvres reception, dinner and awards presentation ceremony, and the famous Afterglow Party featuring live music and dancing.
