eMeta Corporation Names Andrei Vazhnov Chief Technology Officer
Accomplished Technologist Takes on New Challenges as eMeta’s CTO
NEW YORK, June 8, 2005 -- eMeta Corporation, the leading provider of access control, subscription management and ecommerce software, today announced that Andrei Vazhnov has been named chief technology officer. Mr. Vazhnov has served in the role of vice president of software development since 1999.
As CTO, Mr. Vazhnov is now responsible for all aspects of product development including architecture, specification and design of eMeta’s eRights Suite, an award-winning software solution that allows companies to license and sell digital products and services in a variety of ways. He oversees application development and technical design, as well as the eRightsWEB (hosted) development and support teams.

Prior to joining eMeta, Mr. Vazhnov was responsible for the design and implementation of multicurrency liability risk analysis software at Goldman Sachs. He is a member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the Association for Computing Machinery and the International Association of Financial Engineers. Mr. Vazhnov holds a master’s degree in science and technology policy from Harvard University and a diploma in physics from Novosibirsk State University.
